In the final two years students in Upper School select to study for either the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) or the Cambridge International AS and A levels. Both of these qualifications are highly regarded and accepted by universities world-wide. IB students are required to take a selection of six subjects from the Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences areas, with an option for Art as well. Students opting to follow Cambridge AS and A levels select five subjects including English, Mathematics or Thinking Skills and three other subjects of their choice.
This allows students to focus in on subjects that they enjoy and those that they wish to specialise in at their University of choice.
A minimum pass rate at IGCSE of “C” or better is required for students to qualify to study further in Upper School.
