On Wednesday 27th September we celebrated our annual Founder’s Day and prize-giving for school year 2022-23.

This event annually recognises the achievements of the previous academic year in all areas of school life showcasing our values of excellence and honour.

This year school leaders from the student and staff body joined prizewinners in the hall together with parents and the guest of honour, CEO of C-Care, Mrs Helene Echevin who shared her thoughts on the key requirements for success. Mrs Echevin also shared her experiences of resilience in her career as an example to our students of how perseverance and commitment are required for progress.

During the ceremony we were also treated to the musical performances of the choir following their recent success performing with the Drakensberg Boys Choir School as well as a violin performance from Grace from Year 8.

Our musical talent is certainly growing under the leadership of Head of Faculty, Ms Farla Ribbonaar. We recognised the success of our respective IBDP and IGCSE examination students including the top achievers in those examinations, Jayden Rungasamy (IBDP) and Aryan Jugbandhan (IGCSE) as well as the academic success of our students in Years 7-10 who excelled in their respective year groups.

With many students receiving multiple awards, it is clear to see that we have many positive role models at the school whom we are extremely proud of.
