Meet the members of our Leadership Team

Mr Jonathan Taylor – Head of School

Jonathan is a highly experienced school leader across English National Curriculum and IB settings. He has led schools in the UK, China and Switzerland and prior to arriving at Northfields was the Director of Education for the prestigious Repton Family of Schools. He holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management and is currently working on his MBA dissertation. Jonathan is a Fellow of the UK’s Chartered College of Teaching and a former Board member of the Swiss Group of International Schools.

Mrs Kirsty Daby – Secondary School Principal

Kirsty is British/Mauritian and joined Northfields in 2005 from the UK.She became the Secondary School Principal in 2022. Kirsty holds an MA in Educational Leadership and Management and is a passionate teacher of science with specialism in Biology.

Mr Ian Rothman – Primary PYP School Principal

Ian Rothman, a South African, joined Northfields International Primary School as PYP Principal in April 2024. With over 20 years’ experience in school management, he was Senior Principal at an IB school and Brand Ambassador prior to joining NIPS. He is passionate about equipping children with skills for an evolving world.

Mrs Marta Jamila Berardi – Primary Montessori School Principal

Marta Jamila is a Montessori- child centered educator and leader, who worked in the Middle East and China for over 20 years. She joined NIMS in August 2024 . Marta is passionate about children’s education starting from very young. She developed early years and primary curriculum, opening child-centered kindergartens in Israel and China.
