On the 29th February we celebrated Chinese New Year and held a special assembly for the occasion.
We had the pleasure of welcoming guests from the Chinatown Foundation who helped transmit the Chinese culture through the melodious performance of the Erhu, intricate art of Chinese calligraphy and a spirited game of Mahjong.
Musical performances such as dances and songs performed by our students and teachers livened up the atmosphere, igniting the spirit of the New Lunar Year.
The crowd favourite however was definitely the Lion Dancers who brought excitement and joy wherever it passed. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about Chinese culture and come together as a community to celebrate this special occasion.
